Our son has struggled with severe eczema for most of his life in the creases of his elbows, backs of his knees and around his eyes. For years during flair ups he was prescribed antibiotics, oral steroids and steroid creams to use during severe eczema outbreaks. At one point he was using a prescribed monthly injection for his eczema as well and he did a full year of them, and that was a struggle. We had him tested for allergies through a blood panel and patch testing. No allergies they said (and we had this done 3 times over a period of years because surely he was allergic to something). He's not. If you're new to "crunchy" things know that eczema can start in the gut, and can be a form of staph infections on the skin (for entertainment purposes only obviously)! That's why the steroids, injections and antibiotics act as a bandaid and when you quit using them it comes back! We have changed our son's diet (and didn't remove gluten btw), increased his protein intake, natural foods, introduced pre and probiotics to help heal his gut; made the swap to cotton and bamboo bedding and clothing because our biggest organ is the skin and it soaks up everything! The biggest change was using Coastal Tallow Frosted Glow Blue Tansy Whipped Tallow Cream! No more vanicream and other brands we were told to try, because they never helped but cost a fortune! CT FGBTWT has healed his skin barrier and gotten rid of the infection! It is the best out there. We initially used the Blue Tansy Oil and Unscented Tallow until we realized they had it made in combination and made the swap to one product. He is no longer in pain and his daily quality of life has greatly improved. We are so grateful for Coastal Tallow, their small business, small batch, in house made with locally sourced tallow (we use several in our home, all 4 of us). When you use what God intended for us to use you repair, heal and sustain. His skin looks and feels like normal skin for the first time in 10 years thanks to Coastal Tallow products. They have customers for life and we will order bi monthly! I would highly recommend to anyone, especially those with eczema prone skin! They are amazing. OBSESSED is an understatement!! At first I was new to Blue Tansy and I wasn't so sure about the scent when I opened it. Now, I'm sad if I make myself use anything else lol
Not only that, it has helped my face by LEAPS and bounds!! I was getting ready to be medicated for acne and rosacea, exhausted with trying different products and nothing helping. Now, I'm not saying my acne and rosacea are 100% gone, but definitely minimal now after only 1.5 months of continuous use with Coastal tallow Co. Other products as well.
