What is tallow skincare?
Tallow skincare is made from rendered beef suet (fat), which is rich invitamins like A, D, E, and K. Because its structure is similar to our skin’s natural oils, it absorbs beautifully and helps support a healthy skin barrier.
Will tallow clog my pores?
For most people, no! Properly rendered, high quality tallow is very compatible with the skin and is considered low on the comedogenic scale. As with any skincare product, we always recommend doing a small patch test first.
What does tallow smell like?
Our tallow is carefully hand rendered to keep it clean and mild. Unscented products have a very light, natural scent that fades quickly. Scented products are blended with essential oils or skin safe fragrance for a soft, pleasant aroma.
Is this safe for sensitive skin?
Many customers with sensitive or reactive skin do very well with our products because of the minimal, nourishing ingredients. That said, everyone’s skin is different, we always recommend patch testing before full use.
Can I use your products on my face AND body?
Yes! Many of our formulas are multi purpose. Customers often use our face creams on dry hands, cuticles, elbows, and even baby cheeks. Just be sure to check the product description for any specific guidance.
How do I use tallow balm or cream?
A little goes a long way!
Warm a small amount between your fingers and gently press or massage into clean skin. Tallow is concentrated, so start small and add more only if needed.
Will this make my skin oily?
Tallow helpsbalancethe skin rather than just sit on top of it. If you’re new to rich moisturizers, start with a very small amount, your skin will drink it up more than you think!
Where do you source your tallow?
We proudly source our suet from local farms and carefully hand chop + hand render it in small batches. Quality and purity are extremely important to us, which is why we stay closely connected to our sourcing!
How long do your products last?
Most products are best used within6–12 monthsafter opening. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to keep them at their best.
What if my skin needs time to adjust?
Switching to natural skincare can sometimes come with a short adjustment period as your skin barrier rebalances. Start slowly, patch test, and introduce one product at a time if you’re sensitive.
When will I see results?
Skin thrives on consistency. Most people notice softer, calmer skin within days, with bigger improvements in texture and glow after a few weeks of regular use.
